How to set your Mechanik2® watch

Set it only when the hands are at 06:25. Never set in the red area !

Your Mechanik2® Annual Calendar watch should only be adjusted when the hands show 06:25 (six twenty-five). This is the safest minute and hour hands position to avoid damaging the movement. 

 

You must observe this rule, which protects the movement and prevents damage to the gears and levers of the annual calendar module.

Hold the screwed-down crown with the index finger and thumb of your right hand. Turn it anti-clockwise (leftwards ↺) to unlock the safety screw connection to position 0.

1.1 Turn the crown 15 to 20 times clockwise (rightwards ↻) before you set the watch. This means the movement is wound to approximately 50%.

Carefully pull the crown into the second (2nd) position.

 

Turn the hands to the right (clockwise ↻) only until the date jumps once (1x). Continue turning the hands until the hands show 06:25 without taking the AM/PM display into account.
