Order, Payment, and Cancellation Terms

1. Pricing and Payment Terms

• The export price per unit is CHF 6,420.00, excluding shipping and taxes.

• A shipping fee of CHF 290.00 applies worldwide.

• For deliveries within Switzerland, the statutory Swiss VAT (Mehrwertsteuer) of 8.1% will be added to the total invoice amount (product + shipping).

• The standard payment model is as follows:

  • 50% prepayment upon order placement.

  • 50% final payment before delivery.

Payments shall be processed via Stripe.com or Payrexx.com. All bank charges or payment processing fees must be borne by the customer.

2. Duties, Taxes, and Import Regulations

• For deliveries outside Switzerland, no Swiss VAT will be charged.

• The customer is solely responsible for compliance with import regulations in their country, including the payment of:

  • Local VAT or sales tax

  • Customs duties (Zollgebühren)

  • Any other applicable fees imposed by local authorities or customs.

3. Cancellation Policy

• Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of the conclusion of the contract, which occurs upon:

  • Receipt of the order confirmation via email, and

  • Receipt of the initial prepayment (50%), including applicable shipping and taxes.

• Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to sales@mechanik2.com within this 24-hour period.

• The burden of proof that the cancellation was submitted on time lies with the customer (e.g., email timestamp).

4. Refunds and Fees

• For cancellations received within the 24-hour cancellation window:

  • A handling fee of CHF 290.00 will be charged and deducted from the refund.

  • Payment provider fees (e.g., Stripe transaction costs) and any exchange rate losses are non-refundable and shall be borne by the customer.

• Cancellations received after 24 hours from the conclusion of the contract will not be accepted, and no refund will be issued.

Prices, Taxes, Shipping Costs All prices quoted in the online store or by e-mail do not include costs for delivery, customs, handling fees or transfer costs from the bank. The applicable statutory value added tax is determined separately, if applicable. Our company will inform the customer of the shipping costs incurred as well as any additional costs (e.g. for express orders, gift wrapping, etc.) in the order form immediately before the customer places the order. Thank you for choosing a Mechanik2 timepiece, a precision instrument designed with craftsmanship and care. In order to maintain the quality, durability, and proper functioning of your watch, we kindly request that you observe the following usage instructions.

1. Water Exposure

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the product specifications or accompanying documentation, the Mechanik2 watch is not water-resistant. Therefore:

• Avoid any contact with water, including but not limited to:

  • Showering

  • Bathing

  • Swimming (in pools, lakes, or seas)

  • Exposure to rain or splashing

Exposure to water may lead to irreversible damage to internal mechanical or electronic components, seals, and surface materials.

2. Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for handling the product in accordance with the care instructions provided. Damage resulting from improper use, including water exposure, is not covered under warranty and may result in the loss of warranty protection.

3. Limitation of Liability

Christian Gafner GmbH accepts no liability for:

• Damage caused by non-compliance with care instructions

• Malfunctions or corrosion due to water ingress

• Costs arising from repair or replacement due to water-related damage

The warranty is strictly limited to defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and does not cover damages resulting from external influences or unauthorized handling.

4. Warranty Preservation

To maintain warranty eligibility, customers are expected to:

• Use the watch in accordance with all manufacturer guidelines

• Refrain from exposing the watch to water or high humidity

• Avoid opening, modifying, or tampering with the case or internal components
